you can still drive with a bad wheel bearing, just dont do anything outrageous.. most places charge like $180 around here to do 1 wheel bearing (remove knuckle, press out bearing, press in new, reinstall). just had it done on my moms cause i was lazy
someone in chicago with tools and a garage, i need help!!
i'm in the process of moving to chicago from michigan, on the way out here the rh wheelbearing went.
i can't afford the 400+ dolars shops want for the repair.
if anyone out there has a garage and access to a press,i'll hook you up with cash and or beer.
you won't have to do anything,i'll do all the work, i just need access to tools.
i'm stranded in the middle of my move,if anyone could help me out i'd greatly appreciate it.

i'm right downtown, and the bearing is totally trashed.
