I want to get a set of slotted brakes for my srt, I don't want drilled, I've seen to many craked brakes rotors. I've checked Tirerake.com and could Only find drilled and slotted. Does anyone know if slotted rotors are made yet? Or if they will be? I had them on my spec-v and I gotta have em again, the braking was awesome :readclose , plus I love the way they look!

Are you asking to see a cracked rotor as you've never seen one??

I'll make it a point of holding onto some. We cracked the race rotors on IronMikes car having been drilled. (didn't want to set that car up on them, but at the time it's what we had on the shelf) Now we're back to solid ones.

Was at Lightning fest a couple weeks back to support that event. Looked over the Ford Mustang blah, blah, blah from SVT with it's big buck Brembos on the front. You'd not gotten me to even ride in the car let alone drive it for all the cracks (and too the edge) on those rotors! Hope their insurance is paid up.

Last fall while at RA in Georgia I was clearing the staring grid for Formula Mazda race and plucked up the 1/5 part of a Porsche rotor and tossed it aside....The GTs were out before us. Should have found the owner. lol

Trust me; they do crack. Maybe I'll start to take pics of bad parts rather than good ones.

Yeah they will crack! :readclose A friend of mine back in mississippi had a set of drilled rotors on his crx, two weeks after install and cracks, sent those back got a new set from the vender.....these lasted a month then cracks, sent those back, vender sent drilled and slotted rotors....one month later cracks. then he ordered slotted and no problems for six months until his girlfriend drove the car into a water puddle....He had a cold air intake on it, and she bombed the motor! :buah:

But the rotors where still good!

I had power slots on my spec-v and loved em, I wish they did make slotted rotors for us!

jesus christ people I already told you powerslot has them check out their site.
Ive Had powerslots and they have a tendancey to warp.

Go back to Tirerack and relook at the EBC rotors. The ones for the SRT are Slotted and dimple drilled to give that drilled look but wont screw up the rotors and crack. They also are black coated so no more worrying about corrosion and rust.

I purchased a set of slotted and crossdrilled rotors off of ebay from some company based out of Cali. They were cheap as hell, like $250 for all four or something like that. I mated them up nicely with a set of EBC pads and braking with this car feels much improved. Everyone on the board said they were gonna crack and warp on my first time out, blah blah blah. Well, I've inspected them twice in the 3k miles I've put on them and NO cracks and the wheel doesn't shake a bit on hard or light braking. I've even done some really heavy braking at the track and this combo hasn't failed me yet.

Sorry for the delay in responding but I only recently joined the SRT4 forum. I have Stoptech slotted rotors on the front and rear of my PT GT. I believe your SRT4 takes the exact same rotors. I also have the Stoptech stainless steel brakes lines on the front along with Hawk HPS pads. The brakes do an excellent job and the pads have minimal dust. No cracking yet. The rotors cost about $100 each and the stainless lines were about $90. I purchased them directly from Stoptech 310-325-4799.
