Has anyone installed the Exedy Slave and Master cylinders? If so for the master cylinder the rod that comes with it do i just push into the master cylinder or is there a certain way to put the rod into the Master cylinder? (its the rod that connects to the pedal) I Have the parts already and I have steel braided line to go with it. Any help would be great!

I just wrapped up a clutch job on mine this past weekend. I used Wagner replacement master and slave cylinders, along with the braided stainless line.

I just put the new clutch pedal rod in, then installed my rage-tek pivot, before I adjusted the pivot, I pushed in the clutch pedal by hand and noticed that the rod just kind of popped into place.

If you look at the side of the rod that goes into the master cylinder it has a little like machined area on it. it will "click" into the master cylinder. you can either try to press it in by hand or just slide it in, and once you connect the clutch pedal then press the clutch and it will click by its self. id just re adjust the clutch pedal once it clicks since it moves a tiny bit and will very very slightly lower your pedal (you may not even notice it).

How did the Exedy parts work out long term?
I'm looking to replace my master/slave cylinders.
