Believe it or not the resonator is actually kinda short, but it does an awsome job at sound supression. With the car idleing, you can stand right next to it and talk in a normal tone of voice.
It's 2-3 times the cost as some other resonators and bullit mufflers, but it's polished 16 ga stainless and has a perforated core (no louvers) surrounded by stainless wool then sound absorbtion material (packing will never blow out like cheaper mufflers like the HP). It's built almost idetical to Magnaflow mufflers.
I don't really want to give away the specs yet.....hope you understand.
The ebrake cable can easily be relocated (have done this on my car) and the other lines/wires are far enough away. Told Dunnie to keep an eye on his ebrake cable (did not relocate his) to see what the effets will be. My guewss is they will be fine.
I'm watching the e-brake cable on a daily basis and it's still fine.
Also another question will come up about heat from the tip. As with any exhaust, I don't recommend touching an exhaust pipe after the engine has reached running temp, but I accidently did and didn't even realize I had touched it. It felt very warm, maybe hot but not enough to burn. Also, the tip is already cool to the touch within a few minutes of turning the engine off.
Another kewl feature I like about the MaxxFab side exit exhaust is no modification needed to the body lip/seam where the tip exits the body, maintains the true integrity of the body structure.

*Edit* Scott, I told you so
