Ok so i have seen many people with the Stage 3 rail and they are running a mech. pressure gauge on the pressure test port on the right end of the rail. I am interested in doing the same but im not to familiar with what fitting i need and what size.

Here is the page i was looking at, could someone suggest what one i would need?

Here is the gauge i was looking at too:

Not sure about fittings, but you will def need the 0-100 psi version of the gauge.

yep i plan on getting the 0-100 psi gauge. As far as the fitting goes ^^^ that is the exact one i was looking at, i just don't know what size the test port on the S3 rail is. Then as far as the other side of that fitting i will need some kinda cap that is meant to hold pressure, unlike the stock one on the s3 is just a dust cover.

the fuel pressure sensor fitting that came with my scangauge is a -4an fitting with a 1/8npt port. Todd @ AeroForce verified this is what we need for the
PTGT & SRT4 fuel rail. It comes with the cap you mentioned

Todd at ERROR-farce is a [edit]. just add this one to his long list of F-ups

The test port is NOT -4 AN,,, I repeat it is NOT -4 AN,,, its 3/8-24 SAE flare.

-4AN will screw on but the AN's 37 degree flare DOES NOT match up well to the SAE flare of 45 degrees. Eventually it will leak.

heres an Earl's But you can pick up a SAE flare to NPT adapter from the hardware store.

4AN to 3/8 24 SAE flare
Thanks Duster for clarifing that. I didn't mean to pass on misinformation. I was just passing on what i was told. I guess I wasted my money on that part.

Send it back to Todd. He misrepresented the part. Its his own fault he doesn't know what he's doing ,,not yours.

Damn, glad I found this thread. I have the Aeroforce gauge and bought their fuel pressure sensor kit... Was looking at adapters... Guess the one they sell for $25 is garbage.

so what exactly would I need to connect my sensor?

This wouldn't work?

-4an fitting with 1/8npt port for the sensor..

So I would need two adapters for it to work? =/

What you've pictured and described above is the same as what we sell. Whether it's a Russell like the one shown, Earl's, or whomever, their fuel rail fittings are all AN. We're no different than Jegs, Summit etc. We carry what's available and what people use. Just to clarify, Aeroforce has never stated that the -4 is the correct fitting for the SRT4, we state what we carry and it's up to the buyer to decide what is correct. These are not SRT4 specific kits, they can be used on thousands of makes and models. We offer the fitting for those that deem it to be correct for their application. That being said, people have been using -4 fittings on these rails as well as GM fuel rails for years and I have yet to hear of a problem. That doesn't mean I'm recommending it, you buy what works for your car. I know our neighbor, Realtune, uses the -4AN fittings as well.

The needle in the fuel rail will need to come out before I install correct?

I plan on de-pressurizing the system beforehand of course. Just want to make sure that needle needs to come out. If so what do I use?

Forgot to update this thread. Went to a swan engineering a while back. (They specialize in fittings.) I talked to them about it and was convinced to go with a 37 degree flare and not to listen to "the internet retards"

No leaks. Its been on the car for 5 months now.

I'll update my experience. I purchased the AF FP sensor kit & fitting before i read there could be a leaking issue. Mine recently started to leak. I reinstalled it and it started to leak again so i took it off.

I think i hear a "i told ya so" coming :readclose
