I got my car from the dealership with stage1. If I get an after market wga and set the boost to 17psi, will I be running to lean or boosting to high for daily driving over the long term?

I would suggest get a wideband or get on a dyno and get it tuned to the right levels

now the question is , is it 17lb to redline or a 17lb spike and a hold to a diffrent boost level?

I read somewhere that stage one was designed to safely boost and hold 17psi. I dont like the idea of spiking much higher than I can hold. My car has always boosted to 14psi and held it rock tight to redline.

my boosts to 15 and falls to 12 or 11. I am hoping for a change from this setup.

i would say a spike to 19 and to have it fall to 15-16psi is okay..
