You can use any octane you want from 87-116. 91 is recommended because the stock pcm is tuned to produce the most power off of it. 93 octane isn't going to hurt your car at all. I only run 94 all day every day
Thanks is it true that the higher octaine the high the boost psi will be

You need something to raise the boost eg wastegate or boost controller.
All higher octane gas does is allows you to raise the boost with less risk of detonation.
what is detonation and is it bad.

This is true, but not a good idea unless you have a DP without a cat. Run anything other than pump gas through the engine more than 2-3 times, your cat will be destroyed and performance will suffer.
so whats the highest octaine pump gas you can use without damaging anything
If it comes out of a highway pump, it is fine. You have a chance of knocking with less than 91. Some race gas contains lead and stuff that eats fuel system and emission system components so you dont want those for any length of time. Concentrate on beating your friends with 91-93-94 only then go from there for special occasions.

VP Racing fuels MS109.
If you don't mind paying $10+/gallon.
