I noticed people on the forums who are able to post the error codes that are outputted from the car. What hardware/software would I need?

the only harware you need is your key.

turn it off, on, off, on, off, on and leave it. you are supposed to be able to read the code then. dont start the car when you turn it on though.

Without starting the motor, turn the key to the "ON" position, then off, on, off and back on and you will see the code where the digital odometer read out is.

hey i had it right. just had that extra off at the very beginning. which, if you think about it, is actually right. when you put the key in it is in off.
