And got drilled by it. Not my best pass nor his (Stephen?).

Me on the left, Stage 3 car on the right.
1.854------60ft------1.958
5.303-----330ft------5.217
8.135------1/8-------7.803
85.21------mph------97.58
10.611----1000ft----10.012
12.699-----1/4------11.874
106.91-----mph-----120.89

My best for the night was a 12.607 @ 107.35
I know I saw the stg 3 car run a 11.75 @ 119ish mph

I wasn't thinking about getting stage 3 till that car pulled away like some one turned my car off. Holy cow!!! For the mods. that car has it really pulls on the big end. Stock air box and all !!!! Those guy's are super cool to talk to also. Plus it's cool to see them come out to a local track and just play around with us normal guy's. (Milan Dragway.) They did make it into the Quick 4 for Sport Compact, but lost in the first round to a Talon that went 10.3 @ 140mph. Oh yea, they trailer'd it there behind a four door
SRT- 10, how sweet is that combo rolling down the highway?

He asked for my Vin. but I didn't give it to him. I know he'd just use my vin to order his stage 3 for his srt-4 so he could keep his warrenty. I'll talk to my buddy tomorrow about posting the pic's.

Sounds like you had a good time...not to bash the thread but I thought with stage 3 it would be closer to a 10 second time...just curious...I mean if it is in the 12's stock I just thought the 3 grand for stage 3 would put you in the ten second range...new here...dont bash...just wondering...Pics would be great...

Umm....What runs 12's stock? A stock srt-4 is more like 13.8 to 14.1 stock. The Stage 3 car is all stock motor with only the stage 3 kit on it with an exhaust. No intake, no coil, no wires, nothing but stage 3 parts. 11's are very hard to run in a FWD car. 120mph is flying by any measure. As you can see by the 60ft times he really isn't trying to hard to launch the car. Put my 60ft time on his car and it's like a 11.6 1/4 mile time. I'm on stock suspension too, that stage 3 car with my care free launching method could cut 1.6 60ft times. for an even faster E/T. They are all worried about breaking something for some reason.

I'm not bashing you just telling you how it is.

you should have asked them about the release date man for stage 3! Nice ET for yourself and the Stg 3 car. Did you happen to see what type of slicks they were running?

wow, 11s on the stage 3? are you referring to the normal 300HP stage3 or the 360+HP stage3R? i ask because right now i am looking at the November 2004 issue of Sport Compact Car. they tested Dodge's ultra-lightweight SRT-4 with the stage3R, and it only ran a 12.5.

actually i just noticed some fine print that says:

"after our test, the SRT-4 lightweight went back to Michigan, where DCX engineers slapped on drag slicks and ran one 11.83 second pass at 123 MPH in 70-degree weather"

so yah, i would have to assume the guys at your track were testing the Stage 3R and were using the ultra-lightweight SRT-4 (which has the entire interior stripped out and many carbon fiber parts).

from what im hearing the Stage 3R kit will not be released, they're going to fine tune the one they've got and that will be the production.

oh, and on a side note i've also read that the Stage 3 kit is well over 300 horse and with a full body, will run infact 11.80's or lower.

I have the race on video, just have to figure out how to get it on the PC. I will be working on this tonight. I have pictures of the car I will post soon.

As far as the release date we were told it was all ready to go on their end, just wating for all the vendors to to get all the parts made.

My opinion on the matter doesn't matter much, but you need to look at the 1/8th mile trap. 97mph is good for a lot lower than 7.8 in the 1/8th. Most likely they are still running the small 23" slicks. When the 60ft's come down to 1.7's, that car will be running 11.5's easilly.

I myself have been shopping for turbo upgrades, and depending on price, stage 3 is looking better and better.
