good runs shayne...
i met up with shayne, who just got out of the Marines for some lunch at fuddruckers on 59 south...on the way there we had some fun...i have some of the videos on my cell phone and i'll try to upload them when i get home...
1st run: 55 roll (his 3rd, my 4th)...3rd gear we were even...before i even shifted into 5th gear (80ish) he was half a car on me (shut down for a truck)
2nd run: 40 roll (his 2nd, my 3rd)...we punched it and stayed side by side till i shifted into 4th gear (85mph)...4th gear he slooowly put a car on me, and by 5th he held me off (we shut down at about 115-120)
3rd run: 35 roll (both in second)...we punched it and stayed side...his 3rd gear put a little over a car on me before we shut down (damn cars...they need to learn to stay away from street racers, HAHA !!)
4th run: 40 roll (both in second)...side by side till i shifted into 4th, he put a little over a car on me till about 95 (i have this video)...
5th run: 40 roll (both in second)...he pulled at the top of his second, and his 3rd put about a car on me...his 4th started pulling on me too, but we shut down at about 100
i'm excited about how my car performed...it's not a highway monster by any stretch, but it will get up and go...if i had to guess i believe he'd turn about 265+hp on Carboy's dyno...i would also say he's slighly faster than austin was when i ran him a couple months ago...
