anyone now if 225/45/17 will fit all the specs on tire rack say no but there is this tire shop willing to try but i dont want them messing up my rims if they dont fit. any help guys.

I think there is someone with that size tires on their stock wheels around here. I went with a 215/45/17 on the stockers for winter, didn't want to chance them not fitting.

It has been done before but its not recommended. The tire is just way too wide for the stock wheel and the tire shop will have a hard time getting it on there.

Stick with 205 or 215. A 225 is not going to make all that much difference.
