Hey I just got my SRT today and it seems you really have to stomp on the brakes with force for normal braking.

Is this normal ??

I wouldn't say that I have to stomp on mine, but I do think the pedal feel is a little too mushy. Not what I expected for 4-wheel disks.

coming off of musshy and squealy nissan brakes, mine feel great. no stomping at all...you may want to go drive another one at the dealership to make sure yours isnt FUBARed

I was driving a 01 Sentra SE that would scare the hell out of me during emergency braking, so the SRT's brakes feel awsome compared to it. Had to do an emergency brake because of a dumb bitch in a bimmer and they worked AWSOME!!!!

Give it a few days, and if they still don't feel right get it to the dealer and have them check it out....that's your livleyhood during an emergency....

Oh, and mine doesn't feel "mushy" just not as firm as I wish.

Ahhh. Found the problem. The vacuum line to the break booster had fallen off. Now she brakes on a dime. WOW.

Was about to say that's what they feel like when you drill a hole in the booster...

But u figured it out.
