I went searching for this topic for a while now and I am unable to find any posts related to it. I couldda sworn I saw a thread about it. Anyway...

I'm looking to get a HKS SSQ BOV with some hard pipes. Just have a quick question... will this affect my A\F ratio between shifts, making it run rich? I might of found my answer from someone saying that our car doesn't have a MAF and is measured on pressure and NOT airflow. Is this correct? Will it make the car run rich? Hate to post this new thread and later find out its on the message board somewhere :knockhead:

no it wont make the car run rich, correct me if i am wrong that the only way that a bov dumped to the atmosphere makes a car run rich is that the air that was going to the intake manifold gets dumped and new are will pass by the mafs before the turbo inlet and it will make the comp think it needs more fuel. where as the map sensor is on the intake manifold so the air is not really dumped and ran with new air from the outside. it will read the same amount no matter where the air is dumped.

Ok thanks alot guys! I think I might order it fairly soon and then the hardpipes sometime later. I was looking at the exhaust depot hard pipes actually... I read that they need to be grinded down a little to fit. Anyone else want to share their experiences with them?
