i was wondering how much power a pt gt can handle on stock internals

Its the same motor as an srt-4 neon.... With proper tuning and supporting mods, obtaining >400WHP is pretty common on a stock motor.

There is a ton of info out there, both on our site, and on PT cruiser sites, you really need to search the forums. There are several different routes to take, it really depends on what you are looking to do.

again, the motor is the same as the SRT-4 neon, so the motor has been proven many many many times to be able to handle more power than that. The issue with the PTGT is going to be the transmission, especially if it has an automatic in it.

That being said, there is no greater resource on the planet for this engine than this website right here. Just have to do a lot of reading. It's the same engine, as Gump said above.
