problems after installing stage 1

just yesterday got my stage 1 installed and the car felt great, i hadnt gotten the chance to really open her up but 2nd and 3rd felt really good. everything ran exaclty the same as it did before afr's were good idle everything. so then driving home from work i did a part throttle 3rd gear pull and hit maybe 8-10 psi and i heard a loud pop as if a charge pipe had blown off. the car continued to run perfectly fine until hitting boost so i was positive that was the problem although now this morning i cant seem to find any pipes that could be leaking. all my charge pipes are still stock and the only other thing i could think of is the mopar bov plate. upon approaching boost the turbo spools louder and when letting off the bov opens for a quick second and then i can hear a small amount of compressor surge. so im thinking its just gotta be a charge pipe/hose. is there something im missing, maybe something else it could be before i take all the charge pipes off the car??

Look at the turbo charge pipe clamp, it tends to slide off but the pipe stays on. that could be your problem i got 2.25 t bolt clamp and tightened mine down. cause it kept sliding out on high boost you have to take out batt to see it better.
I actually just had something similiar happen at the track the other day. It ended up being the first elbow in the main vacuum line off the turbo. The elbow completely exploded. So you may wanna check your vacuum line as well.
same thing happened to me when i installed my stage 1. turned out to be the sensor in the coldside intercooler pipe came out. got a new grommet put the sensor back in and everything worked fine and dandy
it ended up being the cold side hose had a small cut in it i think from when i put the pcm bracket back in the car installing the stage 1. i also had a problem with the hose on the w/g was letting air out bleeding boost causing me to spike high and it was breaking up. clamped it down, problem solved. out of curiosity how much boost should stage 1 run, because im still only spiking 16 and holding only 13 sometimes 12psi at redline. im going to install a mbc and redo the vacuum lines this weekend before i go to the track on the 30th
S1 doesnt increase boost. Think its just for a better fuel curve and above all... makes annoying codes go away. If you want more boost look into a aftermarket adjustable wastegate.
