Post Your Slips here....*PICS Warning 56k USERS*

This was with only 11 lbs of boost, Matt was running about 14 lbs of boost I think that might have been the difference between our cars.(7/100th of a second)Oh ya.. and I also had my spare in my car  just in case I got a flat at the end of the track :p Well I did have a race pipe in wich I think was the reason for my higher MPH; 101.12, 101.8, 102.42, 102.45, 102.5

Niether one of us could get good traction I had to feather it throught 1st and part way though second. And wheel hop was outragious if we wern't careful.

not to make excuses but...

It was 40 degrees last night and there was NO traction. I'm going back to the track tomorrow nite, supposed to be much warmer, hoping to get better numbers then...

Can't wait for the engine mounts, should improve the wheel hop I hope!

You'll get better with practice. But cold weather is actually better for the turbo.

Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, better for the turbo but much worse for traction!!!!! I hope to do better tomorrow nite!

i ran a 13.678 @102 at sacramento raceway last night. if someone wants to host the pic I can take a picture of it with my digi cam and mail it to someone. stock tires set at 24 psi, 15psi boost, and firm motor mounts. this was my first time at the track and my reaction times show it.

In the same boat as Digichris...

Digichris -- I know what you're talking about. Went out to Bradenton Motorsports Park last Thursday. It was 90 degrees and very humid when I arrived, and not much better by the time I left. I think the heat and humidity made the turbo fall flat in 3rd and 4th. Excuses notwithstanding, my slips are at:

Best run was on the last slip on the second link (actually 5th of 6th runs). Ran a 14.374 @ 95.21. The Supra next to me was only about 2 seconds faster! :D

I have not been able to scan or get a good pic of my 13.128 slip yet. The printing on it is very light, and the cam is not picking it up. I'm looking at it right now tho', and I'll keep trying to get something to post.
