Okay so everytime I shit from 2nd-3rd at WOT my CEL comes on... And this code keeps popping up... Here's the thing though, I have a SMT-6 with a 3 bar map sensor... For those of you who don't know what a P0108 is, it's a MAP SENSOR Voltage high reading... But how could this be? Under normal driving conditions or anything but WOT this code doesn't pop up... Here's another thing.. It only happens from 2nd-3rd shift... No other shifts or gears... Only when I shift it into 3rd and jam the gas... Then it feels like it hit a brick wall hardcore.. And this is under ALL MOTOR.... No spray invovled... I haven't dared yet to spray it at all.... This doesn't make sense because I have a 3 bar map sensor and if it was the sensor it would go bad all together correct? When the CEL comes on.. The car starts sputtering and back firing an revs between 800-1k while in neutrul....

Any Idea's? Thoughts? Theories?

My Mods are as follow....
Mopar Stage 1

thats yer prob bro, S1 is calibrated for the oem pressure scale. You need to run the oem map sensor for the PCM and the 3bar in addition for the smt-6.

wait, why am i helping you.....you are my only competition in the DizzleTizzle
Then why would it start all of a sudden? I have had the SMT-6 on my car now for about 2 monthes with this setup and all of a sudden it started doing this last night... why all of a sudden? That doesn't make sense because if that was the case as soon as I would of started getting into boost it would of happend like that or even when I started spraying it... I don't have the stock MAP sensor any more I have it routed to the 3bar and I spliced into the stock wiring....

Not to mention I have countless dyno runs on this setup with spray and without... wouldn't it of thrown back then?

Also say if this is the problem... SMT-6 has a built in map clamp... I just forget where it's located in the program....Where is it and how would I set it to say 3.44 volts for the map clamp... I haven't toyed with the map clamp that's built into the SMT-6 and I forget where it's located inside the program itself...

my bad, i must have deleted my post. when i pasted the pic URL. basically i was saying the PCM is running timing/fuel based on the voltage of the blue line and you are sending it the red line. you may be adjusting the signal with the piggy back but it still thinks you are at 15psi when you are at 4psi.

We Fixed all that with the piggy back system and tuned it by modifying fuel and timing for this along with boost... what we are goign to do is take the map sensor and go into the smt-6 and bring the voltage of the map sensor down to 3.44 just incase and tune it from their on the dyno....

thanks SRT4B for that map/voltage scale!! My question is at what voltage (stock ecu) would you want to clamp the 2bar sensor at for the best timing when running a map clamp?
You need a goal.

What kind of fuel will you be running?

What amount of advance do you need?

How are you going to adjust your A/F ratio above the clamped zone?

What is your desired EGT level/limit, and can you maintain that with your current level of tuning?

ok...this is pretty new to me so I'm still learning....

for fuel I'll be running primarily 93 pump gas w/race gas for track days

I don't think I can control my timing yet due to me using a SAFC II

I'm going to use the SAFCII to control my A/F ratios

I have a Precision GT 3255 turbo setup and want to keep my EGT's within a safe zone because this is my daily driver...thanks!
