installed atp's mbc today .. yes i know it's cheap but it will work fine until i get my ebc ..
but i kinda goofed..
for some strange reason the mbc was set kinda high when i got it :?
so i install the stupid thing and go for a test ride.. i drove normal for about 5 minutes.. and finally get it on a straight .. i mash the gas and hit full throttle .. holy shit !! the car felt like the wheels wanted to come off of the car , and my face started to peel back from the torque , and i hit 100 from a 10mph roll in no time , i almost shit my pants.. i thought to my self that it couldnt be set right , because the car was pulling like it had well over 300 pounds of torque.. so i stopped and ran it again ,this time i watched the boost gauge ...
i almost puked !!
fucking spiked at 20psi and ran steady at 19 psi !! :shock:

i'm surprised the car didnt blow up !!
the good thing is , i didnt get a cel , or detonation.. but i hope i didnt do any damage , with the breif runs..
so i retuned it to 16psi .. and the turbo spools in like a second and holds steady at 16psi in 3rd - 5th gears .. but 1st and second start at 16psi , and drop to 12psi near redline.. can this be corrected ?? if not oh well, because the fucking thing pulls like a freight train.. and it is running 13's in its sleep .. i want to bring it to the track to find out.. but jesus christ it screws !!
