I just bought an AGP WGA off a board member and I am going to put it on later today but I have a question about adjusting it. Actually 2. Which way do I yurn the adjustment nut to make it hold the least boost ( all the way down or all the way up?). I figure start ther and tighten up to tune. What is the max pressure this WGA can handle. I know I can search the forums but I keep getting posts with diff answers. Thanks guys.

well turn it and figure out which way loosens the thing...pretty good way to figure it out.

it is not a matter of how much boost the wg will handle but how much your car will. if you are on stock fuel don't go above 17-18

Okay...so i dug a little deeper and I guess my real question is this, Once I get it all connected, does moving the adjustment nut closer to the lock nut produce more boost as it gets closer or less boost as it gets closer? I am Stage 1 right now

the tighter the more boost, kinda self explanatory. stage1 is stock fuel so don't go above 17

thanks, I appreciate the help. I know I ask dumb questions but i'd rather feel stupid here typing my questions rather than sitting at the shop cause I broke by go fast toy. Thanks again

less thread=more boost, more thread=less boost

When you put it on make sure there is very little to no pre-load. This WGA will allow enough boost to do serious damage, think 30 psi if the arm is too short. It is always better to slowly increase the boost to desired levels than reflect back on how you screwed your car up.

How about answer his fucking question.

Turn the adjuster nut toward the firewall.. ie: wrench away from the front of the car toward the firewall to increase boost.

Turn it away from the firewall to decrease boost.

i was trying to make him use his noodle instead of having srtforums tell him what to do
