to open that ivirgin oil drain plaug
i need a list of oil filter part #'s from everyone that has changed ther oil so far.. i would prefer the mobil one filter , in anyone can get it for me ...

anyways i just bought mobil one syth 10w-30 5 quarts
and the k+n filter totaling $35 ... ouch !!!

anyone interested the k+n part # is hp-1002

Sorry,....I used the Mobil m102, but someone in another thread is disputing whether that is the correct one, something about it being too short, I hope he is wrong!! :?

duder every parts store i called said those are the right parts. so did my dealership, soooooo

I used 4.75 qts. of Mobil 1 10W-30 Synth.

My post on filter/oil change:

After purchasing the K&N HP-1002, I jacked the car only to find out that the K&N HP-1002 was almost half smaller than the factory-installed one. I then drove back to Adv. Auto Parts and bought K&N HP-2009 and it fits perfectly. It's about the same size as the factory installed one.

Note to noobs like me who want to do their own oil-change: Use a funnel, wrench is size 13mm. Space around the oil filter and plug is kinda' tight. Be careful not to damage/hit the cooler and hoses under there.
