While I was changing out the OEM battery, I took the liberty to check the gapping on the spark plugs. A bad habit with prior Dodges and Champion goof ups with proper gapping.
This is what I found:
CYLINDER #1: .046
CYLINDER #2: .047
CYLINDER #3: .046
CYLINDER #4: .044
Yes, like always, Champion never got it right when delivering the SRT-4 plugs to DCX.
However, the proper gapping is .050.
May have to try one colder range spark plug and see what happens. Along, with a 20 degree colder thermostat.
