I was wondering if anyone knows the quietest aftermarket exhaust that gives the best gains. I have had many cars with aftermarket exhausts that were loud and it was never a good thing as far as trying to keep a low profile... Any input good, bad or otherwise would be appreciated!!!
I'm looking to go over 300HP just as an aside.....

Well the magnaflow is pretty much close to stock soundwise. It is a 2.5" pipe with 4" tips. It looks nice on my car and sounds great. I am not sure if you would want to use this for over 300HP though. It is around $300 for this exhaust new.

The Mopar is only aabout $300 too, right? Anyone know how much would be sacrificed from 2.5 to 3 in a 375-400HP setup?

Yup, Magnaflow and Mopar are around the same price. Around $300.

in the article, they were in california where 91 is the legal limit... but you are right, on 93, they make far more than 300 at the wheels...

Call scott at Maxxfab. you can find his info in the vendor forum. He's one of the few who will ask you what you want, and then custom build it for you at a price that is pretty close, and sometimes better, than the mass produced stuff...
