so I talked my brother into buying a 05 ob srt4 got it super cheap for 2k it needed rocker panels and a clutch I put a south bend clutch in it an some unknown modified clutch fork has a thicker square piece of material tig welded into it. So i adjusted his cross over cables installed booger bushings and now he no longer has a slipping clutch or 3rd gear grind. But for some reason it no longer has reverse unless you start the car in reverse. With the engine off it shifts into reverse fine but if it's running it feels like an engagement issue. Not sure what changed I did change the fluid to pennzoil symchromesh just not sure what happened

if you can shift into the gear with the car off, but not while its on, the issue is almost always a clutch disengagement issue. Try adjusting the clutch pedal farther out on the master cylinder push rod to get more throw.
