needswings downpipe question!
i just installed my needswings downpipe and hoooooolllllly shit its loud and awsome, im just scared of the cops.. anyways i installed it and then realised on the instructions that i have to unplug my negative battery terminal, which i didnt do.. im not throwing any codes or anything and im just asking what exactly is the reason for me to unplug my neg. battery terminal? is it to reset the pcm, and if so do i still have to even though im not throwing codes?

whenever dealing with any electric work on your car you SHOULD disconnect your battery but you dont have to. you will have no problems, they just say that for your own safety, oh yeahh and Needswings FTW!
how long should i do it for?? if i can ill do it now before work then.
I think you only have to do it for about 5-10 minutes, thats all I ever do mine for.

yeah, do the non-fowler even before the code. saves yourself the trouble, and its a cool little thing to do while youre under the car.

did you have to drill it? rob from needswings told me that you didnt even have to drill into the fowler, its just a plug and go.
