I just want to make sure where the PCM harnesses go back into the PCM. There are three color coded connectors (with colored tape around each harness- green, white and orange) BUT; there are four sockets in the PCM (green, white, orange, and no color). I'm confused because there's no pins in the green socket- but there are pins in the socket with no color code? Can someone check their car and see which plug goes in which socket. MY cars apart in the driveway and I'm running out of beer. Help!

Don't look at the tape on the harnesses... look at the plug colors...

That did it. I'm going to the driveway and thrusting myself chest first onto a screwdriver. Thank you!
You'll find it is much more painful and time consuming if you just place a very small chip of metal under your eyelid and then blink a lot... Wait about 5 hours before going to have it removed so that it can rust first... You'll learn that there are all kinds of applications for a dremel tool after that, and you'll be one of the few who can say that you've actually touched a running dremel bit with your eyeball....

See, Dale, I told you these damn color coded harnesses would become an irritant:)
Is there just one guy at the suppliers plant who has hidden his color-blindness for years? Or maybe he has his own build sheet and isn't aware there was a change?

Damn, rusty metal in the eye!!!! That does suck. Read one of a nasty technique used in certain South American countries. And I defy any guy to read even this sanitised desciption and not wince:)

A pipette (small hollow glass tube) is inserted in the urethra. Tap with the hammer.

GAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Rusty eyeballs seem just fine:)

I knew I should have finished seventh grade

Am I the only that thinks that having the factory wrap tape around the harnesses that just happen to be in the same colors as the coding on the sockets is a bad idea if the Green doesn't go to green, etc. Or, did I smoke more pot then I thought in the seventies?

You're right; these metal shavings DO hurt! I've got a Dremel- maybe my wife can follow the "Stage II Opthomology" instructions with a greater degree of competency than I demonstrated on my install.

PS- the car is a BLAST
