You do not really need to torque the bolts down to a certain spec.. As long as you tigthen them tight enough, You won't have any problems.
Removing the stock downpipe is pretty easy, Once you get the car in the air (jackstands/lift/etc etc), You can see the stock downpipe. The downpipe will unbolt from the stock o2 housing by 4 bolts. You will need a long extension and rachet, And you can get them from under the car. Remove the o2 sensor aswell. You can see where the downpipe connects to the rest of the exhaust, just untigthen the bolt, And wiggle/force/pull it out of there, It might be a bit tough, I used a straight screw driver and a hammer on the little circle piece where they connect, to hammer the downpipe off the rest of the exhaust, when I first did it, Being it was ''stuck'' in place.
