NayKid Summer Challenge

Canadian race fans, the SPEED World Challenge GT - Grand Prix of Toronto is coming this July 2007. Cindi Lux and Scotty White from NayKid Racing would like to give two car enthusiasts a weekend to remember as part of their race team for this event. This event is not for those who wish to cruise the pits and say you are part of a team; this event is for those who want to be deeply involved with all aspects of race car support and are not afraid to turn wrenches or take commands from the pit boss.

As a part of the team, you will work side by side with all the regular guys and this includes being in pit lane during the race. The hours are not for the timid and the only real stipulation is that you be needed all 4 days from July 5 thru July 8, 2007. Believe me; it's worth taking vacation for this!! Your payoff will be official team apparel, be a part of the regular team, going to the pits, team meetings, photos, maybe a spot in their new series http://www.cindilux.com/downloads/racingnaykid.mov.

For those of you who live more towards Mosport, they will also be heading that direction in August 22-26 as well.

Getting a chance to be a part of a Speed World Challenge team doesn't happen often, so if you have the time and are willing to participate in a once in a lifetime event, post up here or you can privately email Cindi Lux at [email protected] and let her know you are willing to help. I will also monitor this thread and help answer any questions you may have. I have worked with these guys in the past and they are great people. In fact, they helped organize an SRT4 track day out here in Portland Oregon this spring.

I had such a great time that I just wanted to you guys the same opportunity. If you're a true gear head and a team player, you should really give this a shot. It's pretty cool.

Maybe everybody just up and emailed Cindi?
Heh.. I was gonna email cindi, but since you bumped the thread. I'd defintely be interested in helping out the July event since I get fridays off. But when you said the hours are not for the timid, what are the hours like?

Nuts to the hours! Whatever they wants they gets. You're up for around 16 hours a day anyways, might as well use them for something cool.

Ya that is pretty cool. Print shops are awesome.

Those giant guillotine paper cutters are wicked, they could totally cut the worlds biggest sandwich all at once.
Hey guys, we are looking forward to coming up north and joining you for some racing. I always love coming to Canada to race cause the race fans are nuts!!:frogtongu Its always fun hanging out with people who like to see race cars that swap a little paint!

We just thought it would be cool to offer a couple of positions to local folks. Yes, the hours can be on the long side. 10 to 12 hrs days but when your doing something cool, the time usually flys. But again, this is on the long side.

The first 2 days out of the 4 are the most important to have the helpers at. We set up on thursday and we practice on friday. And that is when we will usually do the most of our adjustments. And these adjustments take time to do the cars. Plus its important to get into a routine with the team.

So if your interested in joining us, drop me an email. Hope this helps answer some questions. If not, let me know.

Look forward to meeting everybody at the races.

Cindi has treated us peeps in the PNW so well that some of us help out when we can, I have been helping along with Randy (Back-n-Black) with posting, up and coming events on multiple forums. Cindi is and avid supporter of the SRT platform and has a long career of racing Fwd cars. So do I wrench on the cars.....Nope..... Family, Job etc..... keeps me from pledging my loyalty, but the fact that I can help promote NayKid and keep those of you in other regions up to date on events is satisfaction to me. Lets just say I support the NayKid Team.
