ahhhh, last night I dropped off my SRT to get my system installed into it and checked in today to see how things were going and I saw my car's doors and backseat stripped out, I almost started crying

Just thought it was kinda weird seeing it with all the finishing touches removed...does anyone in here actually plan on stripping their car to turn it into a dragster??

also is anyone else planning on putting a system into their SRT, just wondering

Gonna be a composite to start out with, since I need money for speed
and if I spend too much my finace will KILL me! :lol:
Got some Polk 5-1/2"components for the rear, gonna get some 6-1/2" components for the front, either Alpine Type R or maybe some MB Quart's.
I'm not quite sure on the head unit yet, but I'm leaning towards another blaupunkt. And eventually 1 or 2 10" Diamond Audio subs and amps.

i already have a full system in my car.....two 6" TV's in the visors, Poineer DVH-700P dvd headunit(no flipout screen). Phoenix Gold Tantrum 6X9's and Focal Utopia Series 6 1/2 separates. Kicker 1200.1 mono amp, Kicker 600.4amp, and 2 MMats Pro Cast 12's in a custom ported box. car sounds awsome, im extremely happy.

my big decision now is butcher the seats for headrest screens or don't put any in.....i donno yet.

well I get my car back Friday a little after noon. I'm putting 2 12" diamond TDX's which handle 1200 watts each. 2 1200 watt Diamond amps going to each one of them, a 600.4 watt diamond amp going to my 4 6" diamond Hex speakers in the front and back which each have their own cable crossovers. Getting it all flushed out in the trunk and having two-tone yellow and black vinyl. Then my deck is a Kenwood KDC-X959 and I can put my own pics and graphics on it, I wanna get a vid of my car on there, muahaha :twisted: , I'll take some pics once it's installed. Thing that sucks is weight , about 250 extra lbs :shock:

Nice but u will have the slowest SRT around! :twisted:

i have a2 10's in a bandpass box by audiobahn. 4xxwatts. they scream. also kept a coustic 120x2 sub amp. left everything else in my old car. i think i'll price & weight shop for components, and maybe scale down to 1 10" sub. more trunk space. but once u've had 2 subs, it's hard to "downgrade". i'll prob get some work done on the trunk so that i dont get the wonderful "license plate acoustic".

i had two ground zero dvc 12's in my old car. this diamond audio tdx beats the sound of those two hands down. a single sub is not necessarily a downgrade, keep that in mind

yes im serious about those things in my car. i am very pickey about the way my stereo sounds....whats wrong w/that.

im not out to make my car the fastest thing around if i can get it mid 12's or so within 1-1 1/2 years, i'll be happy, i actually wanna go more of a show route w/the car, but keeping it looking clean. not altezza's, body kits and Z3's. just a clean car that will wow people.
