ok well its been a week and nearly 1900 miles.

do i like the car? 1900 miles.. yeah... i think so!

The seats are firm, and for me they are kind of a bitch to get out of but very worth it. you kind of fall into them which makes it nice.

the shifter is a bit notchy but no worse than my friend's 02 r/t/

accelleration is awesome! i went from a 2000 to this... now i want more! hehe.

brakes are GREAT. engine noise is almost non-existent. the only reason you know the car is running is from the droning or gurgling of the exhaust depending if you're accellerating or slowing down.
under hard accelleration you can hear the whirl of the turbo and the exhaust gets very quiet. this thing cruises as nice at 80,90,100 and more as my 2000 did at say... 35.

gas mileage sucks but thats my fault.
cornering is great!

So far i have added the ATP upp/bov. its the best sounding 400 dollars you'll spend! i promise. if the car didnt get them looking the BOV will.
i also added a akb air filter (like k&n)

the inside gets dirty quicker cause the material on the seats dont hold the dirt down like cloth seats. :\

i can't really find anything to complain about, dodge gave us an excellent canvas to work with.

tonight i hit the drag strip to see if i can drive this thing.

1800-2000 rpm is the target launch and remember the last yellow is your cue to be gone

yeah im gonna watch for a while and try and get the timing.

i think my friends with an 02 and 03 r/t's are going too.

i was gonna launch in that range just about because i know it doesnt take much to get it hoppin.

if you get hop just let off slowly and the car will eventually catch but NEVER just let off...your times will reflect that error. If you time it right and start to engage the clutch and start rolling at the last yellow you'll get good 60' (if you dont hop) and good times. Practice makes perfect though. If you dont want others to see just have them do N/T on ur passes

make sure you check to make sure you can refill dont wanna drive home on 25psi. Also if you want take a spray bottle and before you get to the track pour some ice and water in it. So that when you go to take a break you can :roll: :twisted: :twisted:

octane boost = nono just buy the lowest grade unleaded the track sells you'll be better off

ok then how about that spray bottle, more or less squirting cold water onto IC :wink:

ah got it... i thought the water was for me :( hehehe

i gotta work on a manual fan switch to pull some of that air off of there

someone had a good idea how to wire it up but i forget now


whoever it was please post again!

haha I know what you mean about the seats. Once I hit my balls on the side bolstering while getting in :shock:! heh

Yeah i wonder who's car will be the test dummy for Ntercooler system or is pretty universal i was just wondering...I know NX is located in texas so texas srt-4's better be calling....But that would be very nice to do to the lil srt-4 and i bet the results would be amazing.....

Ahaha I was sliding into the seat a little quicker than usual and didnt make it all the way in due to the fact that I didnt compensate for the fact that this car is alot lower than what I am used to. Well I slid in and planted my balls on the side bolstering. . it didnt hurt alot but it gave me that "You just bumped your balls and now your stomach is going pay feeling" :oops:
