Today I had installed: 18x7.5 5Zigen Super-6 wheels, and Yokohama Parada Spec-2 215/40ZR-18 tires. I'm very happy with them. The wheels are in Hyperblack, which is like a black chrome. I don't think I would want to go much wider with this offset (35mm). The front wheels are just on the outside lip.

The ride quality is a little harsher, but I think you would get that with any lower profile tire. The tires are also a little louder than stock. But they are very sticky, and handle corners great! I'm able to take corners a LOT faster without any squealing, unlike with the stock tires. I'm happy with them. I'll try to post a more detailed review after I've lived with them for awhile.

dro, I must say that out of everyone that has an SRT-4, IMO, yours is the best looking by far. I know it's early to judge, but IMO I think you are doing everything right...Show N Go!! Are you going to run those rims at the track or are you going to swap out the fronts? If you don't mind me asking, how much was the tire/wheel package?

Hyperblack, very good choice. I didn't know that color/metal or whatever it is existed. I don't like all black rims and Chrome is too flashy, those are perfect.

So, what are you gonna do with the stock wheels/tires?

Hehe, I guess you like them. Cool! Thanks.

I'm going to try autocrossing with them, but for the drag strip I have some 15" slicks mounted on Kosei K-1's. I need to try those on today and take some pics.

I'm going to sell the stock rims/tires. They have 4500 miles on them. If you know anybody who wants them PM me. I'm not sure how much yet. Make an offer.

As for price, I bought them at Discount Tire. The total cost was $1672. The wheels are $215 and the tires are $166.

The Hyperblack isn't what I expected. I thought they were going to be "black", but when you first look at them they actually look charcoal silver. But now I'm glad they're not solid black. It's a cool finish.

Where did you get the weight from? I think somebody is jerking your chain. How could they be 5 pounds lighter a piece than the $450 BBS wheels? Are you sure that weight is for the 18's?

They do look good though. Very impressive.
