Yeah, black absorbs heat so it creates more drag since the paint is a little softer, plus that rough surface absorbs a little moisture which makes it heavier too! :rofl:

Which would make blue the 2nd slowest.

Actually, the electric blue repels heat, that's why it is so shiny. You must not have much experience with the e-blues... :lol:

Actually they discontinued the blue color because of the slow trap speeds at 1/4 mile tracks and DCX was tired of explaining that it was just that one color that is slow, the rest are quite fast.

So you may have been told, however, in reality, they are only allowed to make a handful of truly fast cars each year... in 2003 it was yellow, 2004 e-blue, and in 2005 the orange blast :lol:
