Looks like shes got a nice project there. Nice find.
Very nice, just a basic wrx swap?

Who swapped it, I see you're from MA, so ECS?
yea ECS did the swap, i actually found the car on their site from when the previous owner had it.
its not JUST a wrx swap, its got a 97-98 sti version 4 ej20 top end with an 07 ej257 (07 sti) bottom end. Not sure if its the stock 07 sti turbo but its the vf34, good for 25psi up to 7000rpm and 350whp. also it has full version 6 STI interior (seats, JDM guage cluster, STI momo steering wheel, kartboy sts w/ sti knob and boot). this friggin thing BOOTS!
more pics to be added later when she gets home from work.
Man that is sexy that is one of the few cars I would possibly get besides the srt-4 if only they came stock like that in the US. This might be a personal question and feel free not to answer but im curious what you paid for it I have been looking for one for a while.
Love it. Get more pics up when she gets home.
lol some people might think she's crazy for paying this much but keep this in mind, this is her dream car (like my supra) and shes been looking for one for about 2 yrs now. the car has about $7-8k worth of stuff in it, not including labor, and the interior and underbody is mint! that being said, she copped it for about as much as a used srt-4... $14k. less than 100k on the odo and the rebuilt engine and clutch havent even gotten to the 1st oil change interval. oh and the ej257 block that was put in was BRAND NEW.
oh yea, i dunno if anyone noticed the TSX projector retros.... :druel: sometimes i think her car is better than mine now, then i start mine up. lol
Rick that is a nasty car! When will we see it at the track? Sounds like it is pretty much a brand new car from the mechanical side of things. Just work your magic on the outside and it will be sweeeeeeet.
thats the subie that i like! after that they started to look funnier and funnier(except next years looks kinda sexy)

good shit!

ugh! this is 1 of 2 of my favorite style imprezas. nice!
Yeah dude nice find on that one! I'd take that one over any of the previous years anyday!
That's one really nice car! W/ an engine detailing, paint job, and those volks that car will be REALLY nice! I'd almost do a darker paint w/ those volks!
That thing is sick Ricker :wah?!:
yeah well my srt has the old 96 neon ADF bottom end with a QRS top end. Makes crazy hp yo!!!!
I bought a '99 Impreza 2.5RS new. Loved the looks and handling, hated that it had no power. And I remember when it came out there wasnt crap for aftermarket parts. Oh, only if I kept it for more than 6 months....
