Sorry to hear about that hunn. I had a similar situation happen to me a year or so ago. I was up in Boston with my 01 Stratus R/T Coupe rolling along at 75-80 on 93, and whats in the middle of the road...None other than a COUCH! Friggin parked there as if invisible people were staring at the traffic coming right at them. I jammed on the brakes and swerved into the lane next to me in between two cars perfectly. Unfortunately the semi behind me hit it. But probably didn't even notice. I hope everything works out when you get it fixed.

When you get it checked out by a body shop, I'd go to at least two or three and get different opinions. Then ask each for a time frame, on how long they think it'll take to get the work done. Theres a good body shop here in RI that repainted my whole decklid, and it came out beautifully. (until my brother helped me wash it....with a BRUSH...unbeknownst to me...and scratched it again) *sigh* oh well he was trying to help. I don't know how far from Cranston, RI you are. But they had my car in and out in two-days, and they work with my dealership here in RI too. The work they do is phenomenal, I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
