Hello Guys, im planning to make my 05' SRT4 to have some more power, and same time have a good handling and braking, my plan is to have the following mods"

Mopar Stage 2
AEM Short Ram Intake
AGP Monster FMIC
B&B Turboback Exhuast w/ Down Pipe
Greddy Type S BOV
Wilwood Big Brake Kits
Mopar Stage3 CoilOvers
DCSports Front/Rear Strut Bars
Mopar Short Shifter /Booger Bushings

Now with all these mods, will I need any Electronic Manager. like Profec E01, Turbo XS Boos controllers ETC? Also, if u guys have any comments, ideas or any thing that will help me out to perform all these mods safely, please share heheh Thanks A Lot guys. (No Im not rich, just Save a lot)

The boost controller will certainly help. Looks like you've got a nice list of mods. What made you choose the BnB exhaust? One more thing, I think you should probably go with either the Psifi CAI, or the Iceman. It will be more helpful than sucking in all the HOT air with the SR setup. Just my .02

Mopar Stage 2 - Excellent choice for a sub 300 hp car
AEM Short Ram Intake - not so good a choice, stock is better
AGP Monster FMIC - look before you leap
B&B Turboback Exhuast w/ Down Pipe - A lot of money when the Maxxfab is better and cheaper
Greddy Type S BOV - a lot of money spent on this and the hardpipes for no reason
Wilwood Big Brake Kits - not my favorite, but if you're spending money....
Mopar Stage3 CoilOvers - Excellent choice, these or the Teins
DCSports Front/Rear Strut Bars - They look nice...
Mopar Short Shifter /Booger Bushings - best dollars spent in this list...

The boost controller idea isn't a good one, unless you have a hooptie to drive while your car is getting the engine rebuilt...

what makes u say that about the boost controller?
Boost controlled by the PCM was made with reliability in mind. Once the driver can controll the boost, it is very easy to say "Let's see how it feels with more boost". Next week, "Let's see how it feels with a little bit more boost" and before you know it you drop a piston or melt a valve.

That's probably why he said that. Boost should only be increased a max of 15% over stock. If you want to increase even more, than you need to make sure you have the right bottom and top end parts to take that kind of punishment.

Hey take it from me install a true cold air intake, the short ram looks nice but gets heatsoaked rather easily.

If I had the money I would do this

Stage 2 w toys
Injen SRI (Guessing you have to worry about hydrolock this is cheaper and has alot better fitment than the AEM and sounds amazing under boost)
AGP FMIC
TCE Big Break Kit
MPx Turboback(all 3" exhausts are the same, get a cheaper one)
JMB Pressure Pipes with your BOV of choice
Hotchkis Sway bars (struts dont really do anything is what most people are saying, but htey are cheap wont hurt but get sways!)
Mopar Stage 3 Coilovers
Mopar STS w/ Booger Bushings

Then get some nice lightweight wheels and your set =)

Hey thanks, I chose B&B just cuz I seen a video and the ppl that used it were very happy with the results. I heard CAI can be dangerous, especially with it comes loose and the Rubber thingy gets sucked in the Turbo Fans, I just read this somewhere in forums. Other than that thanks.

get a CAI and the MPx axhaust-
Ditch the STB's and go get the Hotchkis sways- they will give you much better stiffness and driving response :)
Which FMIC would you guys say is the best? I see Dale says to look beofr you buy the AGP? I'm looking for a new one now and want the best for the money TIA Brad

SRT4af,

You are right about the CAI. If you glue the rubber grommet in place (with some real glue, not elmers), it will keep the grommet from getting sucked in. There is also the hydrolock fear, but to solve that, don't drive through deep water. These are problems with MOST CAI, but with PsiFi and Iceman, the filter sits a lot higher than say, K&N. I have the K&N, and it does sit pretty darn low, but there is still at least 10 inches of clearance from the road. If I could go back, I'd get the PsiFi. It sits higher, and won't be a heat sink. Hope that helps!

i'd say go with the CTI intercooler. do a search on it, it looks totally different from every other intercooler out there, and is just as good as the others. i'd also go with the iceman CAI...sits high and is a great intake (if you don't mind it being one of the loudest ones out too).
