I have already had to warrenty me a new coil pack. I am a Chrysler tech and I was doing the plug wire TSB when I noticed my #1 end on my coil was burnt up. Dunno if it was the wire or coil it self arcing. So after 15,000 miles I have a new Coil pack, all 4 plus wires and plugs. Plugs and wires came per TSB and Coil pack was just burnt up. Fellow techs was like what a pos and couldn't believe it with that few miles already needing a coil pack. You may not gain anything but that is my experience with the stock coil so far.

Coil pack heat shield. Cheaper than new coil pack or trouble to replace. It's a pain to install. But my coil pack and wires are no longer subjected to the hight heat like they were before the install.
