Car has been sittin, and I’m ready to get her on the road. Car was hard to shift and the cable snapped. My guess is the fork. Needing someone who can work on it. PM or post here with a price. HOA wants it registered so parting out of it doesn’t get fixed. TIA

So, not sure if you'll see this, but I don't have the best info. Transmission issues are the number one culprit with the srt-4, unfortunately.

There were only 25k of the cars made, and most are likely long gone to the scrap yard, the transmissions are difficult to get ahold of and parts are nearly impossible.

That's usually why it is hard to find someone that can work on them, more so than anything else.

If you license and register it, I don't think a HOA can stop you from keeping it?

Can’t register until I run it through emissions unfortunately. Cable snapped and its dead. Been sitting a year and a half now. I think the fork is what’s wrong, not the trans itself. After being towed, it’s locked in gear now and won’t budge at all
