I was thinking about going to stage 2 w/o toys but i want to go stage 1 and add some other mods because after seeing many different peoples combos it kinda seems like for the money stage 1 runs better for other mods to be added on. Thats juts my opinion plus a tight budget :crying: , i guess you guys know how that is. But anyway I just wante dtomake sure that:
1.)Stage 0 injectors are black right?
2.)How does stage 1 feel compared to 0?
3.)Does it run(HP wise) almost as good without the cat back system(I'm puttin in a 3 inch downpipe)
4.)My shifter looks shorter than the stocks that I see. Now i didnt put a mopar sts in but maybe this guy did if it looks shorter than stock is it probaly a sts?

5.)Shouldnt I expect about 13.4s or 13.2s with a 3 inch downpipe sts and stage 1?

I get the stage 1 badge with my order right?

Most tests have the SRT running between 13.9 and 14.5 in the quarter. I think expecting low 13's is being VERY optimistic. Stage 1 is only advertised to be good for 10HP. The best downpipes maybe another 10HP.

Have you run yours at the track yet?

I've been doing 14.3's in mine pretty much stock. I'll be happy to hit 13.9 with stage 1.

1) Stage 0 injectors are purple. Stage one is Black and blue
2) Stage one feels great. New sounds, new response time. boost holds better
3) Runs good with out or with catback, Runs ALOT better with 3 inch DP
4) The shifter wont look shorter. The short shifter is in the guts. its the throw that is shorter. not the actual shaft that you can see outside of the boot.
5) you would expect to get 13.6 at the most unless your a great driver and have great 60 foot times. I would say you may get stuck with 13.7's. If you dont get a WGA you may want to get one considering thats where the power is. MUHAHAHA

And yes the STage one badge comes with stage one order.

Thanks alot man im askin because my dads an auto tech and he was lookin today and thought he saw black injectors i was like no this car dosent have stage 1. He saw balck do you think I have stage1?

uhhh i have black injectors and im on stage 0. I dont think ive ever seen purple. And last time i saw stage 1 the injectors were red. maybe im color blind, maybe ur color blind...but my brain is definately not seeing purple.

The 04 has the stage 1 injectors that an 03 would get. The 04 stage 1 is just the ECU.

I didn't know you had an 03, it wasn't in your post. I have an 04, for mine it's only advertised as a 10HP increase.

In that case, you're quite correct about Stage 1 being 20HP or more.

And yes driving is bery important. Instead of buying mods. Spend your money on gas and go to the track and practice drivng. Trust me its worth it. I got a 13.966 Completely stock. it took me 2 months to get that. about 7 track runs. now if you put mods on your car you lose traction and the whole feel for the car. and dont forget these cars are moody. some days they will run like crazy and others they will feel like they dont want to go anywhere.

Uhm no? Lets review the statement. Ok then, it appears that SWTSRT IS correct. I also have an 04. The 04's DO come with the same injectors that a person with an 03 would get if they got stage1. Stage1 for 04 models ONLY get a PCM since thay already have the larger injectors. Again, 03's get the larger(same as the ones on an 04) injectors, as well as the stage1 PCM. As far as for the 04 having the WOT shifting, the jury is out to lunch, but I say thats not true. That comes along with Stage1 upgrade. Yeah thats it. I feel confident about my answer. about the 04's having WOT boost hold stock. Well i wasnt sure if mine did or not so tonight getting on the freeway i WOT shifted from 2nd to 3rd and watched to boost gauge...stayed steady at 14psi.

stage 0 here in 102 degree weather and sacramento raceway in california sux for traction with about 2.2 60 fts and stock boost just 3 inch downpipe and exhaust and intake 13.97 at 101mph

must not be driving your best because thats at like 50 ft altitude sacramento is a valley near sea level and im on stage 0 pulling 13.9 gotta get 2.3 60 foots to hit 14.1ish which i did ALOT mostly i was running 14.05 or so i dialed in 14.044 that day and was hitting it consistantly i have learned how to drive my car after about 12 runs i never raced this car before but overall been racing cars for 6 years+ so... keep tryin good luck on stage 2 i think id be hitting low 134ish 13.3 ish with the same mods... with larger intercooler and all race gas high 12's on streets ppl on this forums have done it so its easily possible a guy i know hit 12.96 on streets with stage 0
