Hey,

So I'm looking to add solid motor mounts to my neon now that i have the engine getting fully built. I purchased a used set of MassiveSpeed 3pc solid motor mount kit. Kinda regret it now. Haven't seen any other post anywhere about them. So I'm looking at buying a new set of torque solutions due to all the praise they get here.

Questions:
1. What solid motor mounts will give the LEAST amount of vibrations?
2. I see lots of people say the trans mount causes the most vibrations, is it stupid to use solid 2 mounts and oem trans mount?
3, Torque solutions brags about having 50% less vibrations than competitors, how true is this?

1. They'll all shake, embrace the race car vibes 😂
2. The 2 dogbone mounts are actually torque struts, the trans and 4th are the actual mounts. So I would assume you'd get less vibrations if you keep the trans mount oem.
3. I do see that claimed, by using larger bushings. But can't imagine it would be super significant.

Also I've heard those Massive brand mounts are fine, yeah they're lower cost but I don't think I've seen anything negative about them besides just not being AGP or Torque Solutions brand. I went with the 3 piece SDK solid mounts and love them. I get a nice lower back massage every time I drive 😂

LOLOL shiit, I don't want a back massage. I guess I'll probably just install the massivespeed ones and see how they are. If ass, Ill buy the torque solutions and hope what they brag about is true.
thanks mate

Torque solutions are the best, period. They look the best, vibrate the least, and won’t crack at the welds.

They have less vibration than others however they still do not provide a completely smooth ride. The poly filled stock mounts feel almost stock but give better performance. I personally find it a happy medium with the torque solutions mounts.

If you are really sensitive to the vibration buy new stock mounts and put poly inserts in.

Don’t use a solid 4th mount or you’ll really get a lot of vibration. I bought a new oem one and put it in vs aftermarket.

Torque solutions!
Their 75A durometer mounts will absorb the harshness that the hard plastic found in other mounts won't.
