Well I have a dasmopar mapclamp not installed but my wideband reads --- on the rich side when accelerating. I'm thinking what if I install the clamp and clamp lightly like 4.3-4.4v. Im running a 20-21 spike falling to 13.I only want to clamp this much for safety because I want to see if my widebands reading right. Is this a good idea? About what should me afr's be expected to be. 80+degree weather here.

what octane?

91oct: ~11.5 max

93: ~11.8afr max


dont worry about tuning by volts for now, just tune by afr

yea tune by AFR, id say 12 is the best or 11.9 but thats just me

when was the last time u did a boost leak test cause i said u are spiking 20-21 and falling to 13 u should be holding atleast 16 so do a leak test and are u on pcm boost or not

Did one yesterday no leaks. Non pcm controlled.

damn that sucks cause im holding 16 with a 20 spike on mine and no i dont have the stock boost gauge that shakes like crazy u should put that clamp on

Clamped today. i hit 11 something and then I'm mid 11's through until 5k then I go pig rich. SHould my afr's be 11.8 across because now at like 3.5 or 4k im 11.5,11.6,11.4

Yup my car pulled instantly and strong. Across the board im in the 11's except for redline.

Im running the ptp clamp at a 4.3, on a 20 spike/15 hold.. The only fuel upgrade i have is the ptp 75psi fpr and im at 12/11.8 afrs across the whole powerband pretty much.. And yea let me say massive gains in power on every fricken gear.

i call bs....for months and months and boost leak after boost leak test up to 25psi with no leaks ive tried even holding 15 and it always drops to 13 no matter what, quit ur bs story on holding 16 tard! maybe on ported mani and cliped and ported turbo.

come to fl and ill prove it just because your car cant does not mean that mine cant plus im not on pcm boost and it holds 16 just fine with a untouch turbo and maybe your wga sucks

Are you using a MBC too? Cause that will sometimes not allow it to drop soo far

no just a ptp wga it is possable to hold 16 and not 17-18 at red line u cant have any boost leaks and a good wga like the ptp,fm,and the agp with the ptp upgrade spring on the stock turbo cause i was holding 14 at red with the S2 wga at red on pcm boost
