definitely , we all know silver is faster :jester: awesome race , he prob was amazed you weren't falling behind. My second favorite race to date was when I edged out a mach 1 at the track with a 14.133 to his 14.296 stock for stock :thumbsup:

We lined up again to honk but while we were lining up a cop turned on his lights for a second right behind us and then turned off on a street. That was it for the night lol it was scary. Maybe next time. The Mach I guy is real cool.

Mach 1's are a good match up for us. Two ran side by side last time I went to the drag strip here. Their first run they did mid 14's (first time I guess). The second run they went 14.17 and 14.19 side by side. It was fun race to watch.

Jeez...are you at a high elevation or something? Those dudes can't drive if you are at a near sealevel elevation.

Wonder what would happen after 100mph? I not trying to be a smart A** by asking, becuase I really dont know how a Mach runs above 100mph. I know its above 100MPH where my new Cobra really walks my modded SRT4 (below 100 its a respectable race)

You were about even from a roll, but I think the Mach woulda got you from a stop and kept that lead the whole race. SRT-4's have great topend with their high trap speeds, but can't seem to launch as good as a rwd car. Awesome race man!! I have a GT and I have beat a 109mph trap WS6 at the track just because my car launches really good. He was catching up though. I guess your car are best racing from a roll.

I have seen stock Mach 1's running 13.5's. They are pretty fast cars. Sounds like it was a pretty nice race.

No shit he would win from a stop. He ran 13.1 in the 1/4. He has gears and nittos. He said once he gets to 4th, his car falls on it's face which means SRT-4 would have won. He was just about to shift to 4th when it was over so we probably would have passed. Maybe next time we will find out :eveilgrin but we were sscared after seeing the cop lights :crybaby:

Weird, that's very similar to my story bone stock too.

And P.S with those mods i think you should have beat him.

Actually better gears will help you accelerate quicker no matter what gear you are in. The only way it might be worse is that you would be shifting into you overdrive gear at a lower speed.

Yeah, I Raced One Too. They Are Pretty Evenly Matched With The Srt-4. Except My Race Began At A Roll Around 80mph Up To 155, And My Car Was Loaded With My Fat Buddy's. Had Fun Though.
