well, i will keep this short. i was exiting the 15 south onto the 91 east and hit an oil spill traveling at an acceptable rate of speed, pitched the car, went over the right curb, fucked up the wheels, then pitched back left and shot directly into the gaurdrail and spun 180 degrees.

so far, it all looks to be just some body work and maybe a light frame job up front only. still runs fine, i drove it 100+ miles home, but the wheels and tires need to be replaced for sure as well and after bouncing up over a curb im sure the alignment prolly will show signs of maybe some mior suspension damage. dunno. ill post pics tomorrow when its light out.

for the record, i was not racing at all, just a fucked up situation with the oil spill is all. be careful and alert out there guys, i couldve avoided this if i was looking more carefully at the road.

yea, itll be fine. im fine, car looks to be mostly cosmetic damage, im sure after the dust settles it wont be nearly as bad as it FELT like it was when i hit the rail.

Ya man main thing is your alright. Car can be fixed but i know its sucks to look at in the meantime

Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully you get everything fixed or at least get a good amount from insurance for the car if they try to write it off. :thumbsup: If there was a large amount of oil on the road you might also look into the liability of CalTrans.

Yeah, my buddy was telling me there was a silver srt-4 facing the wrong way on the 91 last night.20 mintues before he told me ,I saw you get on the freeway with the yelllow srt-4.
At least you are ok

Damn man im glad to hear your ok! take that shit to insurance if you want, i finally did after 2 1/2 months. I couldnt believe they were gonna cover it and they're gonna fix my whole driverside area under the crashbar where it bent and their gonna give me a new bumper, my car gonna look like new again LOL. Hope evrything turns out good for ya!

the hood it toast. it seperated the two layers and twisted the whole thing. the front portion of the fiberglass came completely delaminated and it cracked in the middle really bad near the left strut tower. it is repairable but the cost of repairing it would cost more than just buying a whole new one...

ok nvm stupid bastard sold it, he sold a srt-4 hood for $25 bucks lol

well i still have my stock hood, but im not going to tell the insurance co that, cus the fiberglass one is the one that is damaged, so im still gonna make them take care of it.
