I was driving hard to get home fast. Pulled in my garage jumped out and halfway to the door I noticed a loud vibrating metal noise comming from under the center of the car... What is that? and I haven't been able to duplicate it yet

Heatshields cooling... if you park the car, then run into the house really fast, you won't hear it...

this didn't sound like your normal car cooling cracks... this was loud and constant..

You know, i was trying to think of something funny, that couldn't be construed as being mean or nasty, and couldn't think of a damn thing... Sometimes the simple solutions are the best ones...

I did come up with one that I thought was funny in the latest EGT thread... I'm not cool.... :lol:

I thought it happened when the car was off.... the reason you have no power is because the car is off... :eeeek:
