I've put something in your other thread. Both of the PT Cruiser versions, the 180 low output and the 220 high output will work. Obviously an under 100k mile 180 low output would be idea because it would have less wear and tear. Honestly any PT cruiser engine would be the best bet because they are structurally identical other than different manifolds/covers/bits and pieces, most of which you could find with relative ease for the car.
Many of the car junkyards nowadays are getting really really good as far as finding what vehicles are at what junkyard online. Obviously with one of these turbo motors, you want to get to it as quick as you can to hopefully avoid having someone pick over the engine you want, and take an oil pan, or valve cover, or pulley, etc. You'll want to find a wrecked car, preferably in the back end, otherwise if the donor vehicle itself is structurally sound, and it was a mechanical problem that failed, it's probably going to be the engine on a PT cruiser. The gertrag and auto transmissions were really tough on those cars.
Of course, you can always just rebuild an entire motor if you have the skills to do so. Nice thing is, there's a ton of stuff out there to work with, even now 15 years later. Transmission, pretty slim pickings there though.

good luck!
