your not going to loose much weight unless you drop sizes and reliability comes into issue aswell a wheel that weighs 3 lbs lighter then stock your only loosing 12 lbs total weight and your loosing reliability and light wheels tend to warp a little bit after hard launching just get the ones you want :) my .002 but if you really want weight get some 15 inch kosei's or something but you loose traction :(

you can lose a lot of wieght without droppin sizes. 5lbs each in my case.

its called unsprung weight.. it makes a huge difference on the cars handling, acceleration, and stopping. 1lbs. of unsprng weight is like taking 10lbs of the weight of the vehicle when it comes to performance. Ive never seen my wheels or any other lightweight wheel on a srt warp on any kind of launch

I had 17x7 Gram Lights on my old Subaru. They were 14lbs. Rays makes a lot of rims that are lightweight, Gram Lights are the lightest i believe tho.

The 17x7.5 SSR Competition weighs 13.0 lbs a piece, fits the SRT-4 and is very popular around here.

There are lighter wheels on the market but most don't have srt specific fitments.

Since I have tires I like, are there any relatively light 18 in. rims? I don't want to ditch my Michelin PS 235's.

The SSR Comps are probably the best looking and lightest wheels for our cars, IMO. But not cheap. Still, I think I will spring for these as soon as I put some more wear on my stock tires. It can't yet be justified with 2500 miles on the really nice stock BFG tires. But next year for sure.

Those are the Euro taillights for the Euro versions of the Chrysler Neon. Nice!

SSR's are awesome tires...if your going for drag radials...the Motegi TrakLites are only 10lbs a piece...and Avon makes a nice Slick/Drag radial for it...

The SSR's are not tires, they are wheels.

The Motegi Trak Lites are only for a 4 lug cars.

sniff...
I miss that windshield, and that hood, and those fenders, and that fascia, and the 2004 headlights, and the clear corners, and the sivlerstar headlights, and the radiator, and the core supports, and the rest of the supporting sheetmetal...

But at least those el cheapo SSR's didn't even go out of balance....
