It is a new 2004 with about 3,000 miles on it. It began when I was driving in town and I noticed that my brakes kept surging. You could also hear this surging effect. It was almost like the rim was hitting the caliper. I stop and looked at everything - plenty of brake pad, rim wasn't hitting the caliper, lug nuts on tight, tire pressure fine, nothing behind the tire. I got back in the car and started heading home when sure enough, the ABS light and the Brake light came on and stayed on. Although, when the ABS light came on, the surging effect stopped and you couldn't hear the noise either. As far the the Brake light I wasn't sure why it came on. All I could think of is, low on brake fluid, but it was fine. I called my dealer and I will be heading up there today. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I imagine it is just my ABS sensor. Thanks.
