Ok here is the deal. I have a HKS bov with hard pipe. I have the E-01 boost controller set at 18-19 psi. I checked every hose but the one on the turbo to make sure they were tight. Now when I’m in 5th gear at about 45mph and floor it. At about 18psi I hear what sounds like a leak. If I hit it when going 60+mph it does not seem to leak. Now when it hit in 2nd or 3rd gear and floor it I hit 18-19psi, but don’t hear the leak. Now when I say leak what I mean is sort of a flutter/leak sound and the boost goes crazy and jumps around between 16psi and 18psi.
Anybody have any ideas what might be going on? I’m going to tighten the hose on the turbo to make sure it’s tight, but any one think it could be something else?
