Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the last day of racing this year on October 23? Was anybody planning on going down there if the weather holds? I really hope our S2 is in (supposedly a lot have just gotten out to vendors) but I think I'll probably race regardless.

Yeah, they never did that season number stuff before. When did that pop up? I pulled in to pay and the girl is like "whats your number?" I didn't know if she was looking to hook up or what. I'm hoping for another day like last time I ran when I got in 5 runs and coulda got in 2 more if I really tried. Maybe with it being so late in the season, and with any luck gray outside and no rain, people will forget about it and we'll have free reign.

I might show up for this since I didn't actualy get on the track last time.

I want to have some numbers on the 1/4 before I start performance mods so I can keep track of what my progress is.

I already have a baseline Dyno, even though it seems way too low.

it will be $35 to race, lunk. $10 fee for the season and $25 to run at test n tune. that is what brother was talking about.

as far as the dyno- have you done the boost leak check? also, wayne had low dynos and also a water pump problem to pair up with it.

My car should be ready by then. but I dont think I raced at Pacific this year so may run portland. We'll see $10 to Pacific or $10 in gas. I run better times at Pacific. We'll see what the weathers like between the two.

I'm break-dancing inside my head. JR, I hope you get out there. Our '04 is gonna be beating you with our superior traction and tires, bwaaahahaha, lol. Yeah, right. You've got a few other mods.....Oh well.....We're going to have to defllate the tirs(hopefully someone will bring DR's, or we'll have slicks by then), and maybe borrow some race gas from someone or something like that. Too bad Wayne won't be there, he'd be a real help for tuning.....Well, Lunk, and all y'all better show up. I REALLY want to meet the whole crew. And v8killer '04. Get up there please! I've never seen an Evo in action, and I've never heard one in person. Hope to see you there(yellow is teh best color on the Evo; even though they are the ugliest thing ever built!).

$35 is nothing when it costs me that much just to get to the track.

As far as checking for Boost Leak, I'm not 100% sure how to go about doing that. I'm willing to learn but I have only slightly more knowledge then the "absolutely no knowledge" I had back in March. :)

When I showed my printout to the folks around at Dyno Day the comments were along the order of "that's what I'd expect from a stock '04". But reading other people's information on the forums from their stock '04s has me wondering if there is just a difference between the Dyno they used and the one I used, or is there something that's not quite right with my car.

Overall it was way more power then I need for a daily driver, but that's not the point now is it. :eveilgrin Getting the problems out of the system might not only help performance but it might indentify a significant and costly problem before it gets out of hand.

Only time will tell...

Yes it will ruin that if you launch it above 5000rpm. But don't do that. I'll PM you as to why.
Eh? Who mentioned launching like that? I don't see it in this thread.

If there's a reason to mention it, why PM it. Just put it in the thread.

5000 seems a little high to me because I would think you'd end up just breaking traction (aka Spin Out), let alone breaking 5-10 other things like exhaust hangers and motor mounts. :)

PM because Mitsu goes around the internet looking for people who have stated that they will, or are participating in racing events. If they find them they void their warranty. Bastards. Anyways. MT launches the Evo at 5000rpm regardless of MR or just Evo8.
