Just bought an 04..problems

i just bought this used 04 from a dealer and the guy before me put a good amount of work into it like exhaust, fuel injectors, turbo timer and boost controler etc. Basically i wont get past 7 psi on redline and my car is spitting out oil out of the exhaust. I checked the clamps and stuff but it seems ok... Anyone know whats up?

Get compression tester and test. Pull the air inlet off the turbo and see if the turbo spins freely. If the turbo spins freely and you have compression then check for leaks between the head and the turbo and between the turbo outlet and the intake manifold

yikes... good luck ... i wouldnt buy a car that was spitting oil out of the exhaust

sounds like you're running directly off the wga. check your vacuum lines.

spitting oil out the exhaust??? take it back to the dealer man. that's f'd up. did you test drive it before buying it and it was fine?

dude thats not good! i hope it wasnt one of those "AS IS" deals. but there are laws against selling shit to people. take it back and have the dealer fix it.

"AS IS" or not you can still fight that. I did it with my old 240. Of course there are time constraints there but he said he just picked it up.
