Finally got my srt on fri. I noticed that if I drove it and parked it then came back an hour or 2 later that the windshield was totally fogged up on the inside. Just wondering if thats normal? Also im boosting about 12 pounds. I thought stock boost was a bit higher than that? Oh and when decelrating in 2nd gear i hear kind of a whooosh sound coming from the front end i think. and no its not the turbo lol :stab:

i never noticed my windows fogging up. But on a new SRT-4 it taks about a thousand miles before you get full boost it it should be about 12-14 pounds. Remember that our ECU's are very sensitive to everything and will pull or give boost for the smallest differences. But the one thing it does is if you run your car reall hard all the time it will see this and mostlikely give you another pound or two. And as far as the Whooshing noise i have never heard that either

The swoosh you're hearin might be the stock blow off valve. Do you hear it right when you let off the gas? It'll sound like someone is exhaling.

Nope. Its when i downshift and let off the gas it goes whooosh for like a couple seconds. But only in 2nd gear. Who knows this is the first new car ive bought maybe im just paranoid cuz i love the srt so much :thumbsup:

What I highlighted bold in your comment is exactly what a blow off valve will do. I remember in 2nd gear I'd be able to hear it but not other gears. Go out and just cruise in 2nd gear. Put on the gas and then listen really close when you let off the gas. Right when you let off you'll hear it.

put it in nuetral, rev it up to 6 and let off, ull here the same woosh when you let off.

My car with 540 miles on it gets 15 boost. I have been using 93 gas sence day 1 instead of the 91 gas the book says maybe that helps with the boost.

I live in Oregon, and the fog up pretty quick here also @ 50 deg. but the defroster gets rid of it really fast, so I don't mind.

I have the fog thing. Don't know what it is though. No problems this far and I have had the car for about a year

ive noticed about the window....if you let the vents open to let air in from the outside theyll fog up...thats a possibility i guess
