Bobby and I are planning a Trip out to Detroit Lake Park... Great drive!! We Will BBQ there and Hang out ! POTLUCK!! Bring out what you wanna eat. We can start a list of what people will bring to the Potluck, once a list Of People starts. And There is a Day Fee of $3.00 to Park.

We'd like to leave atleast by 9:15AM probably Just Meet up with People at Clackamas Town Center Near the Sears Automotive area @ 8:45AM (need address PM me) Its about 2 1/2 hour drive up.

Great chance for some nice pics And to hang out !

All is welcome.. the more the merrier!

omigosh that is the baddest drive. anyone who went with the evos a few years ago is down. bonin, youre down. the road to detroit is NOT STRAIGHT.. at all. youll love it for a couple reasons that are the same. heheh.

i cant believe nobody else posted yet. zane and lunk were the famous captain insano drivers in the srt group last time. yea- we gots some authority on our asses too. but just a lil bit. zane handled everything for us. :lol:

bone definitely took a week off to become homosexual. he wont even read this thread apparently. this is the sweetest drive ever. ive been on every northwest drive since 2003 (thats a lie, i missed one) and this is definitely the best of em all. hands down.

I second that.

BEST DRIVE EVAR.

But SRT OWNERS BE WARNED "DRIVE SAFE!"

There are a few corners that srt not designed for our turning radius, even using both lanes some of the turns require Heavy acceleration and propper ebrake management.:readclose

I am not sitting in the back for this mark my words "I WILL BE THE FIRST DOWN THE HILL" even if I have to use my GO GO GADGET OFF ROAD 4 WHEEL DRIVE!

Oh crap I thought it said JULY. The kids start Summer vacation this next weekend. I have to go drop them off at my moms (its in Oregon luckily) so I will try to push them out of the car without stopping so I can make this.

the likelihood of me making it has pretty much diminished. this is the best drive in the entire northwest, so i hope others can make it. i propose another trip before years end. it is absolutely awesome, so i hope i can make the tour soon.
